From the youngest students performing in their grade level programs to regular studio art and vocal music classes to the band, Spring Musical, and Advanced Placement Studio Art classes in Upper School, DWS students have multiple opportunities to develop and showcase their creative abilities. 

Deerfield-Windsor recognizes this as an essential part of a complete, well-rounded education and has actually expanded and enhanced our program with newly-designed art studios, band room, and individual practice areas. 

Our students have excelled in arts in recent years, winning local, state, and national recognition in visual art contests and garnering spots in the GISA All-Select Band and Chorus and several competitive musical ensembles.  Deerfield-Windsor students have played in the Doughery County Youth Symphony and a DWS student held the position of concertmaster in a recent year.
