Carpool Procedures

Morning Carpool Procedures

Four lanes under the large porte-cochere are available for students exiting cars. Children should exit the car next to a safety patrol student who will open and close the car door. 

Afternoon Carpool Procedures

Teachers are responsible for loading all children in one of the four lanes.

K4: Pick-up is at 12:15.

  • Lane 1 - Middlebrooks
  • Lane 2 - Hart
  • Lane 3 - no through traffic
  • Lane 4 - Phillips

K5: Pick-up is at 2:30.

  • Lane 1 - Hardin
  • Lane 2 - Woodall
  • Lane 3 - no through traffic
  • Lane 4 - Knight

At 2:40 remaining children will be sent to Extended Day Care.

1st-2nd Grades: Pick-up is at 2:55.

  • Lane 1 - Espy
  • Lane 2 - Stiller, Collier
  • Lane 3 - no through traffic
  • Lane 4 - Williams, Finnicum
  • Parking Lot lane (center parking lot) - Yeiser

3rd-5th Grades: Pick-up begins at 3:10.

  • Lane 1 - 4th grade
  • Lane 2 - 5th grade
  • Lane 3 - no through traffic
  • Lane 4 - 3rd grade

At 3:20 remaining children will be sent to Extended Day Care.

General Carpool Info

  • NO CELL PHONE use during carpool!
  • Students in grades 1st and 2nd should be picked up with older sibling when applicable.
  • Drivers will be asked to pull back around if arriving before the designated time. Do not line up any sooner than the following:
       K4   12:00
       K5    2:15
       1st-2nd  2:40
       3rd-5th   3:05
  • DO NOT park and walk up to get your children! Pedestrian traffic slows pickup significantly!

  • Your child's safety is our main concern!
