Student Activities

Student organizations provide a needed opportunity for students to show leadership, responsibility, and initiative in a setting designed to encourage independence and mature judgement.

All students are encouraged to participate in co-curricular activities, which may involve creating music, planning special events, competing in a sport, or performing community service. Student groups meet on a regular basis, and each is supervised by a faculty/staff advisor.  Dues and membership requirements differ for each, but most organizations have an element of community outreach interwoven in their annual activities.  As stated in our school's mission, personal integrity and a sense of social responsibility are priorities on campus.

There is always something going on at DWS and a special place for each student to belong.
