Homecoming is the week of October 15th and the student council has been working very hard to make this year’s activities outstanding. This week promises to be a great week for our students as these events assist in creating more school spirit and fond memories. This is a great opportunity to discuss with your child the importance of making good decisions and the proper way to celebrate special occasions.
Listed below is a summary of activities along with the grade levels that will participate:
Lower School
Monday: Rainbow Day (head to toe clothing-no face or hair paint)
K4: Red
K5: Orange

Tuesday: Hats For Hope (bring $1 and wear a hat - the more outrageous the better!) Regular uniforms should be worn.
Wednesday: Backwards Day (teachers dress as students; students dress as teachers)
Thursday: Wacky Hair Day (jeans may be worn)
Friday: Spirit Day (Wear your DWS t-shirt with uniform bottoms, jeans, or gym shorts)
Middle School

Students in grades 9-12 should report to the above assigned location for breakfast on Friday, October 19th by 9:00 a.m. Students in grades 9 and 10 will be transported from breakfast to the upper campus by bus. Lunch on Friday, October 19th will be catered by Chick-Fil-A. The upper school students will be charged $12.75 for breakfast and lunch and middle school students will be charged $6.00.
