Extended Day: Fun and Flexible

Deerfield-Windsor School’s Extended Day Program provides a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for Lower and Middle School students. The supportive atmosphere students experience during the school day continues after dismissal, fostering academic growth, creativity, and social development.

Lower School Programs

  • Stay and Play: A balance of creative play (indoors and outdoors) and structured homework time, with a designated rest period for PreK students

  • Exploration Classes: After-school enrichment for PreK–5th grade students, offering opportunities to discover new interests and develop hobbies through a variety of classes

  • No Extended Daycare will be offered on the following dates:
    • Grandparent's Day 

      Christmas Program

      Easter Egg Hunt 

      Field Day 

      Last Day of School 

  • Middle School:
    • A supervised, structured environment for homework, study time, and enrichment

    • Opportunities for social interaction and independent responsibility in a supportive setting

FAQ:

  • Who does our Extended Day Program serve? We serve children from PK though the 8th grade.
  • When is our Extended Day Program open? We operate on the school calendar year until 5:30 PM.
  • How do I register my child? Complete the online Registration Form.
  • If my child misses school can he or she still attend Extended Day? If a child is absent from school, or checks out of school early, they are not eligible for programming on that day.
