After a brief period competing in the Georgia High School Association, Deerfield-Windsor School—along with many other independent schools across the state—joined the Georgia Independent Athletic Association (GIAA) in 2022. This move marked a return to competition with long-standing independent school rivals and a familiar athletic landscape.

Throughout its history, Deerfield-Windsor has built a tradition of excellence in athletics, earning numerous region and state championships and consistent recognition for overall athletic achievement. The program has been honored repeatedly for its success across multiple sports, reflecting both competitive strength and a commitment to sportsmanship and teamwork.

Today, Deerfield-Windsor offers a wide range of athletic opportunities, with programs for both boys and girls at the varsity level, as well as a robust selection of Middle School sports.
