Strength and Conditioning
Deerfield-Windsor’s Strength and Conditioning program helps student-athletes improve their strength and speed so they can keep pace with the high level of competition in GIAA athletics.
Our students train in the Graham P. Lowe Family Health and Fitness Center, an impressive, state-of-the-art facility that includes a workroom, multi-purpose room and athletic training room. Workouts in the weight room are tailored to individual athletes so they can achieve progressive gains, with emphasis on strength and muscle development, speed and agility, flexibility, and injury prevention.
Student-athletes may work out under the supervision of a coach or individually. They may sign up for the Physical Conditioning for Sport P.E. class during the school day or work out after school with teammates.
