Every gift to The DW Fund makes a meaningful difference in the lives of our Knights. While tuition provides the foundation for a DWS education, it does not fully cover the cost of the exceptional academic, athletic, artistic and extracurricular experiences that define the Knight journey. Philanthropic support helps bridge that gap, ensuring every student benefits from the opportunities that make Deerfield-Windsor unique.

Donors may choose to support the area of the School that is most meaningful to them, including academics, athletics, the arts, student life, scholarships or campus enhancements. While every gift is appreciated, unrestricted gifts provide the greatest impact by giving school leadership the flexibility to respond to emerging priorities, invest in new opportunities, and address the areas where support is needed most.

Doesn't tuition cover costs of the school?

As with most independent schools, tuition covers only a portion of the true cost of a Deerfield-Windsor education. It does not fully fund the exceptional academic programs, dedicated faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, innovative learning opportunities and enriching student experiences that define the Knight experience.

Annual philanthropic support helps bridge this gap, ensuring DWS can continue to uphold its mission of excellence while providing every student with the opportunities to learn, lead, and thrive. Every gift strengthens our school and invests in the success of current and future Knights.

Does it matter when I make my gift?

Gifts to Deerfield-Windsor School may be made year-round, but contributions made early in the school year provide valuable support for thoughtful planning and responsible budgeting. The DW Fund also offers the convenience of recurring giving, allowing you to customize the amount, frequency, and duration of your gift to fit your family's philanthropic goals. Recurring gifts provide reliable, ongoing support that helps sustain the exceptional educational experience our Knights enjoy every day.
