Operation Roundup Scholarship

$1,000 will be awarded to students attend college or university in Georgia. Based on "All Around Student Performance" including academic performance, volunteerism, and participation in school, church, and community activities. Financial need is also considered. The applicant, their parent(s) or legal guardian(s) must have their primary residence or a place of business in the Mitchell EMS service area. Preference will be given to Mitchell EMC consumers. However, further consideration will be given based on financial need, academic achievement, extracurricular school activities or employment, community service, and leadership qualities. Military Spouses' Club of Albany

This is a merit-based scholarship that rewards students for academic excellence and merit. An applicant must meet only ONE of the following: 1. A military dependent of an Active Duty Service Member stationed at MCLB Albany, GA. 2. A military dependent of a Deceased/Retiree/Reserve Service Member AND the applicant resides in the MCLB Albany, GA area. 3. Dependent of a current MSCA Member (Civilian) who must be in good standing as of December of the current MSCA fiscal year. Please see Mrs. Willcox for an application.

GA's Own Credit Union Scholarship

$1,000 scholarship awarded to a dependent of a primary member of Georgia's Own Credit Union. (must have been a member for three months and in good standing). Scholarship is based upon demonstration of strong academic achievement as well as well-rounded bled of extracurricular activities, school/community service initiatives, essay and financial need. $2,000 Selection will be based on the applicant's record of extracurricular activities, scholastic achievement and demonstration of exceptional character in agriculture. Applicants must be high school seniors and plan to attend a two or four-year college on a full-time basis. Students must be pursuing a degree in Agriculture, Crop Production, Livestock Production, Crop & Soil Science, Agricultural Technology, Agricultural Research, Sustainable Agriculture, or Agribusiness. Scholarship winners are chosen based on overall achievement and accomplishments. Applicants must be high school seniors and plan to attend a two or four-year college on a full-time basis. Students must be pursuing a career path in agriculture sciences, animal biology, chemistry, business, accounting, finance, communications, etc. with an interest in a career that is essential to sustaining infrastructure in our small towns and communities.
