Counseling

The primary obligation of the Guidance Counseling Department at Deerfield-Windsor School is to help meet the needs of all students academically, socially, and personally while encouraging an attitude of respect for all individuals.

Deerfield-Windsor’s Counseling Department provides support services to students who may be experiencing problems with the process of learning. Interventions include, but are not limited to short term counseling and guidance, crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate community resources.

Age appropriate programs and educational opportunities help promote and foster a climate that is inclusive and thorough. Students in PreK through 5th grades benefit from weekly guidance, helping them to develop strategies to realize their full potential. Our counselors work diligently to create an environment conducive for learning and personal growth.
